Katelyn O’Brien, PharmD, BCPS, CDCES, BC-ADM

Dr. Katelyn O’Brien is a clinical pharmacy specialist and certified diabetes care and education specialist at Boston Medical Center working in the Diabetes Clinic in Adult Endocrinology. She graduated with her PharmD from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and completed her post-graduate residency training at VA Boston Healthcare System. She was named the 2025 Outstanding Champion of Continuing Education by Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and was named the 2026 Diabetes Care and Education Specialist of the year by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. Her areas of interest are in increasing diabetes technology adoption in underserved populations and cardiorenalmetabolic management in type 2 diabetes.
